Your personal profile contains your account information and preferences. Learn how to update and manage your profile settings in Faqify.
Accessing Your Profile
From the Dashboard
- Click on your profile picture or name in the top-right corner
- Select "Profile Settings" from the dropdown menu
- You'll be taken to your profile page
From Settings
- Navigate to Settings in the sidebar
- Click on "Profile Settings" tab
- View and edit your profile information

Profile Information
Personal Details
- First Name: Your first name
- Last Name: Your last name
- Email Address: Your account email (used for login)
- Job Title: Your role or position
- Timezone: Your preferred timezone for date/time display
Account Information
- Account Created: When your account was created
- Last Login: Your most recent login time
- Role: Your current role in the company (Owner, Admin, or Member)
Updating Your Profile
Step 1: Edit Information
- Click "Edit" or modify fields directly
- Update the information you want to change
- Ensure all required fields are completed
Step 2: Save Changes
- Click "Save Changes" button
- Your updates will be applied immediately
- You'll see a confirmation message

Timezone Settings
Setting Your Timezone
- Click on the Timezone dropdown
- Search for your timezone or scroll through the list
- Select your preferred timezone
- All dates and times will display in your selected timezone
Timezone Benefits
- Consistent Display: All dates/times shown in your timezone
- Relative Times: "2 hours ago" calculations use your timezone
- Scheduling: Meeting times and deadlines display correctly
- Reports: Analytics and reports use your timezone
Email Management
Changing Your Email
- Go to Profile Settings
- Update the Email Address field
- Save your changes
- Verify the new email address
Note: Your email is used for login, so ensure you have access to the new address.

- Check your inbox for verification emails
- Click verification links when prompted
- Update your email if you don't receive verification messages
